Cooling fan issue
Looking for anyone that possibly help me. I have 5008 1.5 hdi cooling fan doesn’t work. Checked voltage supply to the fan getting 12v at the plug, then checked if the voltage is being carried through to the fan itself no voltage whatsoever after the plug. The car overheats constantly

Re: Cooling fan issue
If you have 12V across the plug but not at the fan terminals then the issue must be a broken wire in the lead. Try connecting a 2 core flex from the plug to the fan and see if that gets the 12V to the fan terminal, or apply 12V direct across the fan and check it runs.
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Re: Cooling fan issue
In my car recently, i had a fault about low speed fan failure. You can check and energize it through diagbox if you have to see if is working. There is a resistor with plug like in photo on top of the fan and very easy to access .In my case one of the pins was detached from the board and i had to solder it.
