Does the fuel system have a squeezy bulb to prime the fuel filter? If it does then it won't have an in-tank pump as well. Just a simple fuel level sender.

Just keep in mind the priming bulb on the 1.6 HDi is under the engine cover often so you'll have to lift that off.

I recently had a potential issue with the fuel pump/sender. From what I gleaned it seemed that the tank may have to be dropped to access it.
From what I could find out, there is no tank access from the cabin in the C4 Grand MK2.....which is ...wonderful....thank you Citroen....

Thankfully my issue resolved itself.
