2021 Renault Kadjar 1.3 engine makes a tapping noise at tickover

I wonder if anyone can provide me with any advice on what might be causing a loud tapping noise on my 2021 Renault Kadjar 1.3 petrol engine at tickover. This engine is fitted to many Renaults, Dacias, Nissans and Mercedes and seems to have a good reputation for reliability (apart for the plastic thermostate housing breaking/leaking). I have a friend who has a 1.3 Dacia Duster which doesn't make this type of noise. I have read the high pressure fuel pump can make a noise but it seems nearer the timing chain end. The car has only coverd 8.5K miles and has always been well serviced with renault.
It sounds as as if a tappet needs adjusted but i am aware it won't be this as its fitted with hydraulic adjusters.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Brian

This is the sort of thing that is almost impossible to advise on without actually hearing the noise. If you could make a video of it and link it here someone may be able to suggest the problem.
