Hello!
I have a rifter 2019 130 bluehdi eat8. It has NAC wave 3. recently peugeot update showed available update to wave 4 version 42.03.33.42_NAC-r0. It was not possible to install this update, probably due to expired certificate.
when I checked version compatibility here:
https://sites.google.com/view/nac-rcc/system?authuser=0 I got answer that my current NAC version is wave 3.
but when I checked for available updates today, peugeot update did not offer me any available updates for multimedia, but instead maps version 17 became available (did not try to update yet, but I think it will not suceed). when I checked again here:
https://sites.google.com/view/nac-rcc/system?authuser=0 it suggested that my car has already wave 4 installed which is not true. (I know i for sure, because I checked my actual multimedia version directly on the car´s touchscreen)
Does anybody have any news or thoughts what is going on and if we are going to get a working update to wave 4 someday?
UPDATE just tried to install maps version 17 on a wave 3 version multimedia using official peugeot update app. usb was recognised and process started but after a few moments I got "update fail" or smth like that message.
Looks like PSA finally noticed, that their update isn´t working due to outdated certificate and just ticked all cars to be wave4 versions to stop this non working update to come up and generate many service requests. automatically maps version 17 became available, but it is not comatible with wave 3. Maybe this situation gives us all hope and show signs that PSA is working on firmware upgrade fix?
