That's excellent Matt :-D A good example of TL:DR with no actual TL not to read...

Nicely summarised ;)

Ha ha, glad you enjoyed my shortened version Jim!

Does the forum have a new "anti waffling" blocker? I might need to turn that off given my usual approach! :rofl2:

Grey 308 SW given a quick check over and, just now, a bit of a wash.
MOT time tomorrow - 8:30, fingers crossed all is well :)

An 'Anti waffling' device would shut this forum down.

That's a great result Matt 👍😊

Interesting on the child seat advisory... I've presented my Picasso with a child seat fitted twice now and no mention made...

It's a funny one, i don't think I took them out last year in this nor in my blue 308 in December= no mention for either!

It's in the range of "not allowed to remove things on MOT, hence here's a 'bottom covering' meaningless Advisory"

There's a similar "unable to see things due to undertray" Advisory too - both 308 have an undertray but neither has picked up the undertray Advisory as yet!

I eventually got enough of a gap in the rain to make the blue 308 less dirty, though it did try and help with the rinsing more than once mid wash!

In support of the gray 308 LT MOT advisories, an Autodoc order has been placed last night:
  • A pair of new TRW rear shock absolvers *
  • Left and right gearbox drive shaft lip seals
  • Cam cover gasket
  • Both sets of the oil cooler/filter assembly gaskets
(That typo made me chuckle so I'm leaving it in!)

To try and get the 2.0 petrol 406 Coupe project finally moving I've also ordered
  • full gasket set including has gasket valves stem seals etc
As I will take the head off and clean up the top and and reseat the valves etc. going to stick with its original engine rather than keep fighting to get the ew10a engine to fit / function.

There's a few "errors that are no longer accidental" I find myself drawn to slip into conversation - on the very rare occasions there's need of the (correct) term. Ones that come to mind:
Depository swapped for Suppository, as in "there's quite a suppository of information here"
And
Decimated swapped for desiccated. There's just something great about the concept of "decimated coconut"
:D

Speaking mot , the little 207 front chassis extention leg has a hole about two pound coin size which I thinking of welding up, ive seen something on line claiming this part don't even come into the test ? Is it worth me bothering .
I mean an hour of time ( double that in my case ) a just in case situation
Husky. :? Thinking outside of the box is better than sitting in a dark one.
