I've been trying to upgrade the satnav in my 2005 Peugeot 607 from an RT3 to an RT5. I found an RT5 with a high res display in a C4 Picasso from 2009 and got the display cable from a 407 which used to have an RT4 (the Picasso doesn't use a seperate cable) and the front panel off of a 607 with an RT4. After liberal use of a dremel, some JB Weld, and a few adapter cables the display now fits my car and the RT5 turns on. The satnav definitely knows where I am and the radio seems to work fine as well, but there's no audio coming through. I told the RT5 that my car has a seperate amplifier via Mirascript (the Picasso didn't have that) and I gave it the correct VIN with the Lexia. The unit now realises that it's in a Peugeot, but I'm still not getting any sound. Any ideas on what's wrong? Is there a seperate signal that turns on the amp, for example? Surely my 607 doesn't have a multiplexed amp yet? I tried digging through the schematics in SEDRE, but it wouldn't give me a schematic for a 607 with an RT4 and a seperate amp

One thing to note: with my original RT3, there was always some sort of hissing in the background. I'm not sure whether that was caused by the head unit or by the amplifier, but it's not there with the RT5.
By the way, this is the adapter I'm using. I'm also using two GT5 to FAKRA adapters and one coaxial to 2x FAKRA adapter for the aerials, which seems to be working fine. I'm nicking the pictures in the aliexpress advert for future reference, not out of any disrespect for the seller, but because I'm sure the link won't be online forever.
