308 Alarm sounding when locking car with keyfob

So I've just purchased a (2015) 308sw the car has 165k on it & drives like it's just out of the showroom. The only issue I've found so far is the alarm sounds when I lock the car with either keyfob. I've read on another website it's possibly a glitch with the bsi & corrupt firmware, has anyone else had this and fixed it? I'm going to replace the keyfob batteries but tbh I don't think it's that as they lock & unlock the doors ok

First thing to check is that the shunt fuse is in the correct position, It should be located in the CLIENT position.

Sorry for late reply I will check this but I have had it on diagnostics & that would show I imagine frustratingly after literally removing the glovebox out 3 times to get to the fuse box last time today I see this post lol, so far I've checked the boot sensor (working) replaced he siren as it had a depleted battery in it but now I'm getting two faults for front door sensors I'll have to do the fuse box again to look at the shunt fuse but tbh I'm doubtful
