I'm not sure all fluids conform to the same standards - whilst browsing in Halfords the Castrol LHM proudly claimed to "conform to Citroen standard xxxxx". However, the own brand make merely said it was "fully compatable with fluids that meet Citroen standard xxxxx".
Yes, Esso LHM quotes the PSA standard on its package as well.
Anyway, the Total LHM is the cheapest (at least here), so I stick to it. I used Esso in emergency once - it ended up on the road anyway [:o)].
