You are definately on the right track & you certainly know what you are talking about..... I'm working on a Partner K9 (long story but completely rebuilt) - latest fault, wheel bearing, magnetic reluctor ring damaged on fitting, used old one and glued it in position, looks great but I assume its not happy as there is no speed being recorded on that wheel. Warning that clutch temperature is high came up straight away even though there is no such system in data log. Therefore road speed inconsistencies are definateley a cause for the clutch temp warning to display.RichardW wrote: 15 Apr 2023, 08:33 I'm pretty sure there is no temperature sensor, my guess is that the ECU cross checks the engine speed with road speed and known gear ratios, and if there is a discrepancy assumes the clutch is slipping and flags the warning.
