Having seen your rowing machine Mick, it certainly looks up to the job. In fairness to mine, I did rather thrash them to death and worked then harder than most might. They did not die in vain 😊

Hi all

I can't believe the moment I remembered to look I was able to very quickly pull over for this one, the moment I set off it clicked over to 77.8

Very satisfying indeed

Cheers

I had a battery failure on the rowing machine which meant all the memory was deleted so I had to start again!! This is the first significant reading : :-D

Helga the SL turned 40,000 miles this weekend. Not bad for a 1997 car :)

Now up to over 196,000 and still going strong.
Hopefully I'll catch it at 200,000

I looked down at the odometer in the 308 the other day and thought I had some kind of binary error message. A moment of wondering how much it would cost to fix and then I realised what it was actually showing.

Picture taken by my able assistant whilst I was driving - I'm not that daft. Ok, I am daft, but do not use my phone whilst driving.

Yes it would have been better 20,000 miles ago (but I didn't own it at that point) :-D

Just looking through a few FCF topics and stumbled on this one. Remembered my first BX 19 RD (the one with the lego style cluster round the steering wheel and the drum speedometer) clocked up 100,000 miles when we were somewhere west of Brussels in August 1988. It might even have been 8/8/88 but memory fades. Anyway, a horribly cropped and badly enhanced picture from a scan of a slide, but you can just see the mileage.
