C4 wierd electrical issue

I’m new here but would like anyone with any experience of the sort of problem with my c4 ehdi
1.6 semi auto . The problem is when I turn the ignition on the headlights come on without using the stalk as do the wipers also the dash screen is completely blank the heater doesn’t work the indicator s don’t work but the hazards do , I did have the rac man out who tested all the fuses but couldn’t get the car to start so any advice would be gladly appreciated . I did remove the radio to see if it had Bluetooth so I don’t know if I’ve disturbed a connection behind

Could be a flat battery. Cars can give odd electrical apparent faults when the battery is flat. Our C5 puts headlights on and the wipers move as an example.

I'd be amazed (and very worried) if the RAC patrol never ruled out a basic thing like the battery before even checking the fuses.

OK thanks for the replies I did manage to sort it in the end there where two bare wires coming from the radio wiring loom that must have shorted out I rechecked the f8 fuse in the glove compartment and sure enough it was broken , replaced fuse and all is well had me worried there for a mo
