Hi everyone,

Sorry been a while

Replaced speed sensor and still doing the same symptoms. I did notice that the wiring looked a bit DIY to the sensor so don't know if previous owner has dodged something. Just trying to source a loom so can start again and see if this helps?

Any advice on this would be appreciated 👍

Thanks

The sensor just transmits the signal its the gears that give the speed. What it could be is that someone has fitted the wrong drive pinion that fits in the sensor,( I`ve done it ) they are colour coded for 18, 19 & 20 teeth ones.. Best get the pinion from a Peugeot Dealer to get the correct colour one.

The speedo pinion should be compatible with the speedo scroll in the gear box.

Thanks mate that's really helpful

I take it the dealer can find out what gearbox is fitted to mine and the correct pinion drive I need?
