C5X Fuse Box

Unread post by andyc82 »

Hi all,

Usually I've been able to find this info online, but does anyone have a fuse box diagram for the C5X? Trying to hard wire my dashcam and can't find the info I need :D

Thanks!

No, unlikely you will as it's such a recent car.

However, first decide if you want a permanent live or switched live.
Then use a piggy back fuse from one in the passenger glovebox and a multimeter to test which fuses remain on after ignition is switched off, However, bear in mind some equipment is on a timer for a set period after the ignition is switched off, like the electric windows, so I suggest you may want to wait for a few minutes after ignition off to test fuse candidates. As long as you use a piggy back fuse with it's own specifically rated fuse as determined for your dash model you should be ok.
Please note, I'm no longer active on the Forum, so won't respond to messages.
