Odd reaction. The Lancia Fulvia is one of my favourite cars, and an unusual spot on the road in any colour or model, but a 1600 HF in Orange well worthy of a gallery on the thread.

Absolutely gorgeous in my book :-D

Same-i-ness in car design isn't just a 2024 thing with its proliferation of small medium and large inaccurately termed SUV's crossovers and the like.

This classic under the cover could be any number of similarly shaped offerings from the 30's up to the 50's.

Welcome to ZX day, based on Skull's inspirational picture from the "On your Bike" thread.

viewtopic.php?p=818854#p818854

Take the opportunity to fill as many threads as appropriate with ZX memories/photographs. Already a few extras on the ZX on the "Special Editions" thread viewtopic.php?p=818876#p818876

Bit of manipulation here of Skull's original just for promotional purposes and to jog a few ZX Day participants.

That's a great image Neil :) The 'ZX' is actually a Skull's AX!!!

It does show the family likeness throughout the late 80s and early 90s X-Series range rather neatly though :D

Well there you go, not the first mistake I have ever made :-D Just read what I thought was the caption for the image which said Memphis and put 2 and 2 together and made 5 :-D
If it was a ‘Spree’ model in front of The Scree’s it would be a great Citroen advert - but it’s a ‘Memphis’ so no word-play [-X
No need to cancel ZX day for a bit of mistaken identity though :-D There must have been an AX "Memphis" special edition too :-D (and there was...well done Citroen not)

Neil, absolutely perfect ;) :)

I must look at my AX brochures and see if I have one for the Memphis...

I'm sorry I can offer nothing useful on the ZX... One Citroen, along with a BX, I've never had the pleasure to own or even drive...

Great cars although they do not enjoy a very great following compared to their siblings... I rather like them, the rare two-door ones especially...

The pick of the crop is the Volcane and rarer perhaps is the Break...

Here's one I snapped at Chevrons this year :)

If the ZX sparks any interest this tells the story.

Nice spots Jim, some tangental offerings here. When the Dolomite bit the dust it bit the dust, along with everything else Truimph, but in the last throes before resources leaked elsewhere, they were working on Dolomite replacement.

Michelotti came up with the left hand design, Triumph's own team the right-hand. Nominally the Triumph team's design was selected, but never made it to production.
