If not you won’t get comms with all ECUs
I forgot to tell you: with the adapter in B position there is no difference, it's like without adapter. In position A (Peugeot Boxer III) I only get info from the Steering column ECU, other ECU are in No response state.

Mine works perfectly and has dialogue with all ECUs and always has, even on the newer Aircross, but I can't speak for your interface of course as there are many clones out there in the marketplace and not all are made equal. The firmware is automatically updated when installing Diagbox upgrades that require the updated.

But with your latest info concerning previous possible Adblue deletion (I assume tank is fitted and that you can see the Adblue filler neck), this can of course affect things as you don't know what has been done ECU wise...

I'll try to find another Citroen/Peugeot vehicle from the same generation to test my interface - to be sure.

The van was checked these days by a friend with an universal tester (tablet with touch screen type - don't remember the model) and the Airbag ECU appears to comunicate with the tool, with no error.
The Instrument Panel was still not in the list of ECUs, try to test all the lamps but couldn't find the corresponding test page. Airbag lamp in the cluster is working, I guess the only one that is blinded is the Engine Check (MIL).
CAN bus to the airbag unit might be OK, and the cause of that protocol error could just be the Lexia interface.

EDIT: @Marc, I notice your statement: firmware is automatically updated when installing Diagbox upgrades that require the updated
What if the firmware was not updated with required file for version 9.68?

It will be as this is an automatic function of Diagbox. Whenever Diagbox connects to the VCI it checks the firmware installed and updates it if necessary. Some versions can go through several Diabox software updates without needing new firmware, so it only updates when needed.

Back to this topic, i have sorted out the errors that generate the Check Engine message and should light up MIL if it wasn't blinded, after that it was the time for the MOT annual inspection equivalent in my country (RAR). Not much to tell, only a slight inefficiency of the parking brake.
After RAR inspection i opened the instrument cluster and found the cause MIL was off all the time - a small blob of black foil pushed in.
Now i have added another 550km without any errors from EGR or DPF.

Looks like somebody had t he issue and tried to hide the MIL light!

Glad it seems error-free for the moment. 👍

Hi Tomasc1, can you be more specific? Did you open the Lexia tool or the Fiat adapter and change the wires? What problems did you have with the adapter before changing wires?

I have returned here for a few things which I consider important. In one of the above posts, Marc had an observation about the possible implication of modified ECM software with some deletions in the issue that I'm having with my diagnose cable (Lexia tool and Diagbox 9.68).

About a month ago I managed to restore the DPF functionality - changed the DPF with a second hand one, thoroughly cleaned it off the vehicle, change also NOx sensor (old one it was stuck on the bad DPF) and of course restored the original firmware on the ECM, undoing all deletes.
The thing is, even with the original software in the ECM, my Lexia interface is not recognizing the Air Bag ECU and the Instrument cluster ECU.
I guess it's something else going on with the interface or the cabling of the van.
All is working as it should, Airbag light is blinking at engine start and then goes out, cluster is working allright, but this communication error is just bothering me.
