I have had this warning light ( Collision Risk Alert/Active Safety Brake Warning light.l
appear 4 times since owning the car, always when it's been raining, so my assumption is water is getting somewhere it shouldn't.
I have just spoken to my Citroën dealer regarding a diagnostic check under warranty, however, if they don't find the fault I will be liable for the £144 fee, and as this fault is very intermittent there is every chance they won't.
So my questions are, would this be one of those faults that stays and can only be erased by the garage, and are there any recalls regarding this?
Thanks in advance.

Re: C5X - Collision Risk Alert/Active Safety Brake Warning light.
I wouldn't worry about it Stu - this can happen due to poor visibility like rain, fog etc. There are 2 options with camera only or with both camera and radar, but on systems with both fitted, if the light illuminates whilst driving it is normal and just means the conditions are not met for the system to fully operate.
This warning lamp lights up on the instrument panel without any additional message, to indicate that the “automatic braking system” is not available. This is a normal behaviour indicating that a condition is not fulfilled and which does not request the support of a workshop.
