2015 C4 grand picasso dpf additive level low warning

I got this message on the dash and have refilled the additive tank. When I took it to the garage to have the system reset the diagnostics machine says there's a fault with the additive pump but im still getting the additive level to low warning on the dash....is the pump easy to replace and if I replace it will that clear the errors or do I still need to have the diagnostics done.

Yes you will need to initialise the additive pump - especially if it is a multiplexed pump. Usually this can be informing it via replacement parts that it has been replaced and then undertaking the priming functions for example.
