Hello all,

could anyone help me regarding my navigation system that blackout?
When power on the car the radio and navigation system remain completly black and a clicky noise is emitted from the CD-Rom.
Attach a small video on the issue.

This sounds like the internal MicroSD card has failed.

In case of microsd is completely dead, how to restore the original config file? Is there a link to download firmware? We need to use cd rom or we can use usb to reinstall firmware into the new microsd?

Everything you need to know is in the guide. You can use the firmware on USB.

Do you know what version of firmware you originally had on the unit before you lost the display?
It's is probably too late to get a backup copy of your user settings using Mirascripts now if you can't see the display to input the responses.

Unlucky no, i don't know the firmware version installed, I'm IT guy but never pay attention to this information...
The car is used by my dad.

As you have a 3008, this would come with a CAN 2004 electrical architecture, so there is a risk with using the latest firmware that you will lose configuration. There is still a risk this won't work, but I suggest you try with version 2.80 which should be ok and minimise the risk slightly.

Note these are the firmware files themselves, not the ISO, so extract to a FAT 32 formatted USB and ensure no system files or the 'Zip' file itself are on the USB - there should only be the contents of the zip file on the USB.

Is there any special tool that I can use to reconfigure the configuration?
The car has some optional like ultrasonic sensor and navigation system...

Not really, these units have a secure mode that requires a dealer server connection to configure using Diagbox - you can't configure these manually.

Is there any chance that by reinstalling the firmware in the photo, the car won't need to be reconfigured?

Ok, so the version you have is V2.75 and that I believe is an original factory-installed version, so not available.

But my info suggests with this version, you can go to V2.80 without any problems, so you already have those files int he link I gave you.

How did you manage to get the image above? Do you have the display working? If so, before starting, use Part A of the Mirascript guide to backup the user data files whilst you still can.

Unlucky this photo is from 2020… when tried to updated map. Now the screen is dead.

We are doing the update but the system after about 10min reboot and the usb stick start again to Blink ad read from system… is there anyway to know if update is working properly?
Screen remains black during whole procedure

Original microsd seems alive… I put the origianl in the pc all data seems present

If the screen is not working and it is repeatedly trying to boot, then it either needs a new MicroSD card and the procedure followed or there's another internal problem to the motherboard in the head unit.

The upgrade seems start but after about 10 mins radio reboot itself and seems procedure restart. You confirm me that during the os install the headup show some information?

The screen should always be showing the update progress. Was the screen not working along with the system before the update? If the MicroSD card has failed, then there will be no info to output to the display.
