hi hoping for a response on an old thread lol anyone know where the adblue injector is on the exhaust as in having simular issues with my ds5 white smoke and ammonia smell

That's not an engine code, best to provide the VIN for these fault codes to save asking later, but if the 150 engine, it'll be the first box section after the manifold.

sorry it was first digits of engine number and thank you very much for the answer also do you think a forced dpf regeneration may help as i have an icarsoft diagnostic tool that i think gives that option just a freind has it at the moment so cannt check for sure

hi the vin is VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff] but as said not yet got my diagnostics back hopefully will be able to get it over the weekend i can pop it on and read any codes thank you

Your engine code for future reference is AHR (DW10FD Euro 5).

Were there any Euro 5 engine fitted with Adblue? I thought Adblue came in with Euro 6.

This vehicle is a Euro 5 engine, but has Euro 6.1 Emissions Classification, so has the SCR system.

Hi so I got my diagnostics back and it's read the vine all OK now it's asking what the ECM is a selection of 9 how will I find out this info please

The diagnostic kit should be able to determine this by interrogation of the systems. You actually have a Delphi DCM 6.2 engine ECU.

I'm thinking a poss faulty nox sensor making the ecu inject too much DEF into the exhaust
But then I'm no expert by fathanks again

P2A00 00 - Concerns the tightening of the NOX sensor.

P20EE: Depollution of the deNOx system: Emission control ineffective. Officially, they will Check to see if the engine management software is up to date and apply this if not.

P16EA: Depollution of the deNOx system: Excess emission of ammonia. There can be a multitude of sub-codes for this fault, so no further info as to the exact cause, but can be the Urea pump, the Urea injector, the NOx sensor or the pump itself.

P208E: DeNOx system circuit: Detection of a blockage. The fix is not known specifically, as this will be determined at the end of the extensive guided diagnostic test (that you won't have access to) undertaken by the dealer with this fault code.

I forgot to mention that when this first happened it was after abt an hour an a half's driving and when stopped the white smoke was coming from the exhaust and from underneath up near the back of the engine bay kind of manufold area
In ref to your reply to the codes will it need to go to a main dealer
