Yes Well done Jim. I engaged in a bit of very odd behaviour photographing that fork-lift in busy garden centre car park, especially when taking an interest in photographing one of its solid tyres for the "Wheel Meet Again" thread :!: :-D

Oh gosh! I have memories of the CZ and of the Honda...

The CZ, despite hailing from behind the Iron Curtain, had its merits...

Indeed :D Both very desirable but on balance, I'll go for the Yam... Looks awesome in yellow

The RD400 had a bit of a reputation as a widow maker...

In rows of parked up bikes I always take a greater interest in the smaller machines and lets say the classic and retro machines. The huge heavy modern bikes and the sports bikes hold little interest for me.

Bikes like the Yam RD series and the bigger Suzuki GT series are the bikes of my mis-spent youth Neil so that occupy a special place in my world :D

As you know, I've owned a few Suzuki GT series bikes, not least my fave GT550 Triple... I always aspired to a 'Kettle' (GT750) but never quite got there. Family coming along changed my priorities...

Rather alarming to think my V-F-R motorbike is 25 years old this year  I think that puts it in 'modern classic' territory - best of both worlds

I'll have to see what my youngest son't new bike is. He has only had it a year or so.
His other is a Triumph Speed Triple, or Street Triple. Eldest son has one too and I forget which is which.
