Today I was able to see the error P0088 as well, I don't understand anything, I don't know what is happening, yesterday I filled the fuel tank full, I don't know if it has anything to do with it, it says fugitive engine stopped error P0088.

Tomorrow I need to solve all the problems (I have the exhaust temperature sensor) but when trying to mount it I have not found where the connector is, it seems that it goes up somewhere in the engine but I cannot access it or see it.

I also need to adjust the suspension correctly, since it is not right, also when I go all the way up, the pump keeps ringing, so it is not right.

I also need to check what that error P0089 is, although perhaps it was due to filling the tank to the top with some specific error, since it seems to be a fugitive.

I also need to look at the problem with the passenger window because it doesn't go down completely, but I don't know what could be happening.

Fault Code: P0089
Description of Fault: Control of the fuel flow regulator : Fuel flow rate regulation valve control current incoherent.
Compare, by the control current, the position of the flow rate regulation valve of the high pressure pump with its nominal opening
The difference in current is more than 2A (For 1 second).
Conditions for Fault to clear:
  • Driving for 5 minutes
Downgrade Modes whilst Fault is active:
  • Deactivation of this compensation strategy of the injectors postinjection to postinjection
  • Deactivation of the correction strategies for multiple injections
  • Switching on of the warning lamp and/or warning message: Warning lamp MIL
Symptoms:
  • Jerking/stalling
  • Slightly higher fuel consumption
  • Fluid leak / Smells (Fuel - oil)
  • Lack of power
  • Starting problem
Suspect Areas:
  • Engine ECU (Software not up to date)
  • Poor fuel or polluted fuel (petrol, deposit, etc.)
  • Low pressure fuel circuit
  • High pressure fuel circuit
  • Fuel injectors
  • Fuel pressure regulator
  • Fuel filter
  • Engine fuse box
  • Electrical harness
  • Connectors
  • High pressure fuel pump
  • Fuel high pressure sensor
  • Engine ECU

Fault Code: P2033
Description of Fault: Catalytic converter downstream temperature signal: Voltage too low. The voltage of the signal of temperature downstream of the catalytic converter is lower than 200 mV for 31.5 s.

Conditions of activation of the diagnostics

The following conditions have to be met:
- Coolant temperature above 70°C
- Engine running for at least 560 s
- Engine speed at 1500 rpm
Conditions for Fault to clear: Ignition On
Downgrade Modes whilst Fault is active:
  • Replacement value 350°C
  • Switching on of the warning lamp and/or warning message: Warning lamp MIL
Symptoms:
  • Lack of power
Suspect Areas:
  • Catalytic converter downstream temperature sensor
  • Electrical harness

Thank you very much for all the information. I already have a new catalyst temperature sensor, but I was not able to locate where the connector is despite following the cable, it went up and got lost. I have not been able to get good data on the height either (I think the car is very high) I have heights: front from the trapezius to the ground as indicated by cotroen: 16cm rear from the chassis to the ground as indicated by Citroen: 37.8cm my 215-55-16 front radius is 30cm my rear radius 215-55-16 is 31cm

Well, I'll go down to the garage to see if I can fix something.

Can the two errors I have be related? Or are they independent? The P0089 says that it is fugitive and is not permanent, maybe it was when I filled the fuel tank or something strange happened briefly.

The catalyst sensor, no matter how much I look at diagrams, I can't find out where the connector really is since I lose track of it. I have seen that in some C5 I it is in the ECU itself, but in this one it seems that is not the case.

I also can't see the correct heights anywhere.

I found the culprit, when they changed the thermostat they did not connect the fap temperature connector!! connected and erased fault. I have also deleted p0089, I hope it doesn't appear again. Now I need to know the correct height (my car measures from the front cradle to the ground 16cm and from the rear chassis to the ground 37.8cm) passenger window I have not been able to solve the problem either

Problem conector sensor temp
