Post by Paulc5060 »

Need help !! Citroen picasso C4.
Don't know what to look at now changed the maf sensor still the same . engine light on all the time . Code P0130 air flow sensor ] air quality measured too great ? I don't know if this as anything to do with it but the small pipe to the air box broke off so I glue a 6mm pipe in and connected back up . I'm at a loss now and need some help from all of you .

Check for a boost leak - look at the pipes downstream of the turbo to see if any are split, often given away by being oily. What engine is it?

Hi
Thanks for your help. It 1.6hdi adblue 2015 picasso
Funny you should say about the oil ! When I took the air box out it had oil all over it . The 2 pipes that come from the boost value have I think it's that have oil over them
How do I get to check them ? If it is what would be the part I need to look for . Thanks again

Can you see live data on your scan tool? What does it read engine off and at idle? Can you clear the code, if so what does it take to make it come back?

Have a read of this long story but in the end it turned out to be a manifold air leak giving a greater air flow than expected. The poster tried lots of expensive fixes but in the end had a professional find and fix the fault https://speckog.wordpress.com/2019/10/2 ... ough-hell/

That's good. What did you do to resolve this issue?
