Hi to all,
The rear suspension of the Activa has two electrovalves near the RAM.
Does anybody know what they are for or how they work? Also, why 2 electrovalves?

One is the normal HA system the seccond is the rear activa bridge valve (there is a front one too they let presure in and out of the 2 back bone pipes that are the hart of the activa system (any citroen sepecialists reading this I am looking for a job!!!)). I am going to write all this up at some point...

A lot of it is from taking the car apart my self I actually have a whole Activa system sat in my shed waiting to go onto the V6 (you can tell how broke I am by this but the only reason I haven’t fitted it is because I need a £25 pipe that got damaged whiles being removed and I cant afford it
).
Although I have the Activa manuals they actually don’t show you how the system is really put together as they do the breakdown as if it was 3.5mm pipe with K connectors and alike in reality there are 2 6mm pipes that run front to back these each connect directly to the Activa rams. each pope has an Activa bridge block attached in line which is just an on and off electro valve with an link to the other back bone (6mm pipe) so the valve can either let pressure into a pipe from the other or make it so the pipe is self contained. the 6mm pipes are unusual in that they have connectors coming directly off them (this is the only Citroen pipe that i know to be like this) the one pipe has the main supply feed ( goes to the block you mentioned under the tank), damper (Balancing Sphere - front), reserve (Balancing sphere - rear), connector to the Activa role controller. The second pipe has just the connector from the other pipe via the 3.5mm output form the bridge and a connection to the Activa role controller. This may all sound hard but realistically its simple compared to HA which is also on the car!

Rostami, if you need any help with the activa system p[ost the question on activanet and i will work through it with you with the citroen manuals and the experiance i have gained from playing. if we hit problems it would be nice to have common fixes on the website so all owners can get hold of info should they need it.

hi bernie its not but i do need that too (i will email you my address) the pipe i broke was the one that conects to the front activa ram and is a reinforced flexi hose (any one who has seen one will wonder how i broke it the answere is it was eather keep twisting the pipe untill the union was undone or lost the £150 pipe with the siezed nut on it
so i managed to twist the pipe round enough times untill it gave up (25-30 times)
