What's the difference?
What is the difference between the 02.2013 and 09.2013 1.6 Blue HDI/ HDI (115 PS 85kw) build of the C4 Grand Picasso and how do I find out which one mine is, and does it matter when ordering parts?

Re: What's the difference?
The date means nothing to be honest. It is the VIN that will determine what is different (if anything) as that will provide the actual build date at factory and other info. Never use dates alone for parts ordering for the very reason you may have a late registered vehicle which may be of an earlier build and parts often change throughout production.
Your membership provides for parts requests, so I suggest if you need the correct part number, that you request it here in the Citroen, DS Automobiles and Peugeot Official Part Number Requests thread along with the specific VIN for the vehicle you require the part number for. You can then search on the genuine part number if intending to source the part elsewhere (other than the dealer).

Re: What's the difference?
It comes up when selecting vehicle type on certain websites, I just wondered if it meant anything specific other than just a date.
Thanks for the reply.....

Invariably, online parts databases are as useful as a chocolate teapot, often contradictory and very inaccurate.
Always get the part numbers from official sources or here as part of your membership, then you just search the web on the part number.

The difference is just that you get the exact right part number for the exact car you have supplied the vin number of. After that it is easy to shop on the net.
