THP Engine Fault Codes

Unread post by xantia_v6 »

My 308 failed to proceed today.
VIN: VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

The fault codes are:
P1385
P2337
P061F
P0565
P3010

P3010 will not erase.

Marc, can you look up the official notes on these?

I suspect that I need to pull the throttle body, but that is not a nice thing to be doing.

I removed that wire tie and the P3010 fault disappeared, but there were still permanent faults with throttle calibration and the throttle actuator test would not work.

I reassembled far enough to start the engine, but it was not very happy, with erratic idle.

I reinitialised the ECU auto-adaptives and went through the throttle calibration procedure.

It now seems to be idling OK, and all of the fault codes have cleared. I will take it for a test run tomorrow.

I've only just picked this up (time difference) so assume you don't need these codes descriptors now Mike? Not sure what the heck that 'dip stick' type thing you found was - can only assume it was some diy tool that has been pulled / sucked in from somewhere in the past!
Please note, I'm no longer active on the Forum, so won't respond to messages.
