The question has to be are you still getting the same fault codes and was the part fitted an original?

never have i known such a temperamental set up for the last few weeks i start up in electric mode get to end of yard and engine kicks in that,s it never see electric mode again until next time i startup .when slowing down engine stops powering front wheels and battery power back wheels but engine never cuts out so doesn,t go into electric mode, so now have decided to look at it as "i have a 2.0l diesel for £10 a year road tax"

Hello all,

I'm experiencing similar problem with my 2013 DS5 Diesel Hybrid4 discussed in this thread. Diesel starts perfectly, no error messages, but when you're ready to go, no ZEV mode available. The big difference is with trouble codes:

1-P0D80 means that Battery Charger Input Circuit/Open has been detected.
2- P1B0C. Description of Fault: Traction battery: Deviation in the state of charge of the traction battery.
3-P1ABF: Description of Fault: Motor: Absence of coupling. Failure to couple the reduction gear after 3 attempts.

Do these make any sense to an experts on this wonderful forum? I'm just trying to make my mind if it's worth getting repaired at all or should I just throw it away.

How old is your auxiliary battery, not the traction or the 12v leadacid under the bonnet but the other one, sometimes referred to as the hybrid battery?

Just to clarify, if your cars system is an earlier version of mine, it will have three batteries, traction, 12v for lights and another(48v?). The engine charges both the one under the bonnet and the third one via an inverter.
That's hell of a long time, I think you need to find it and get it tested. I don't know where the auxiliary battery is on your car, the C5 Air Cross has it in the boot, mine it's under the central armrest.
