Looks like it's missing the nearside wing Paul...

The farthest North Classic Car Auction up at Errol Airfield between Perth and Dundee. Had a wander about there some time ago. Too far North to be off the radar? Maybe but I always like a browse. After my recent usual MOT DIY Car Fixing, I am even less inclined to become a buyer rather than a browser of a classic vehicle but still retain an interest.

The Auction is this Saturday so the catalogue is full and ready to go.

Armchair shoppers...its here

The first lot on the list kicks it off with a very decent looking and quirky car but one in the category no-one is going to touch it with a bargepole if they have any sense although like me they might desire it as a finished article. To make economic sense the auction house would have to give you at least £5,000 to take it away :-D One for the proper enthusiasts for the marque only I would have thought.

I'd love that NSU Ro80 Neil :) Properly quirky! Failing that, the Honda 400-4 would be very welcome in my fleet :) I used to really lust after those as a teenager :)

Second only to Sally Thomsett :) She was always my top teenage lust...

The NSU certainly has an attraction for me being a burgundy auto but the rotary engine would put me off, mainly because of spares issues, however the Honda 750 would be my choice of steed!! :-D

First of all 10 points for anyone who knows where Send is in the United Kingdom without looking it up.

It has the honour of appearing on this thread, because of Ewbank's Auction, which in turn gets a mention for an unusual aspect to its sale this very day, Friday 29th September 2023.

See if you can spot what it is...there are 7 of them in total...

What I spotted is that they know nothing about. Reliants!! They have six Reliant Robins and one Reliant Rialto. A "robin rialto" never existed!!!
I expect the guy who writes their catalogue drives a Mondeo Ford or a Xantia Citroen!! :-D
