2.0 picasso hdi crank sensor

Hello I have just been looking for the crank sensor to replace it.i have been looking on YouTube and some posts on here for the location, and they all say near the crank pulley, well after checking, mine isn't there I've searched all over the place and can't find it.any thoughts would be good TIA

Have a look on the top of the bell housing, it should be there according to the Haynes manual for the Xsara Picasso.

Hi I think 1.6 petrol sensor is on the bell housing,mine is 2.0 diesel according to Google It should be near the crank pulley... But no lol

Should be the same as this one:

Should be on the top of the bell housing at around the 12 o’clock position, it’s quite well hidden by the thermostat housing, you can feel it easier than seeing it. Its the later 2.0 engines (not found on a Xsara Picasso) that are at the crank pulley.
