still not fixed Mick doing all sorts of daft stuff this morning, scroll wheel moves down page at a time, typed words disappear, still jumps to the top but less often and some blue letters pop up on the tags line randomly. Busy today so it will have to wait.

Re: A Pain in the...........
Have you tried an alternative mouse?
I had one that wouldn't scroll properly, huge leaps. Replaced with a wireless mouse and it was even worse.
Dug out an ancient USB mouse and it is much better.
I often find the text I have written is gone. CTRL+Z brings it back. Not a glitch, user error, selecting and deleting text inadvertently.

Re: A Pain in the...........
Here's a new one, a neighbour called and asked for some help, I was away for about ten minutes when I came back the screen had turned from landscape to portrait i.e. fell over. had to reset it.
Tried three mice and two keyboards took out the dongles disconnected all the usb stuff one at a time and reloaded them nothing seems to sort it.

Sorry for the lack of response, for some reason I didn't see your reply (till now) and wasn't a valid suggestion given you are on desktop.Gibbo2286 wrote: 14 Aug 2023, 13:25 I don't know what that is Matt, nothing on my keyboard like it. I've spent all morning going through the suggestions on the net and still no luck.
I think there's a way of having a "limited" start up, if I could remember how you make it do it then I tell you to do that (will see if Google can save me with it's occasionally bang on "did you mean?"
