Citroen C5 air condition problem and engine fault

Hey,

First time posting and also new Citroen owner.

I recently bought Citroen c5, 1.6 automatic 2015 and have few strange problems.

First is with air conditioner. It looks like it always blows full/fastest even if i turn the speed to zero what should switch off the air conditioner. A/c looks like to work fine and it blows hot and cold air.

Second what is more strange, I tried to remove my radio to have a look does my a/c control unit have some wires loose and on that second I started my car without radio I got engine fault error in my dash.

Does the radio unit also works as cars computer so that would be common to happen?

Cheers for help, Car itself has some nice looks and love the automatic but these problems are frustrating.

Your issue is 99.9% likely to be the Heater Blower Control Module. It is usually all or nothing.

I put attachment pic, what was replaced when car got to service last week.

So I think that unit is already changed. Can there be something else?

If you buy a cheap one then it's common for these to not work. Get a decent branded one.

Here's the pic what was changed. Does it look genuine?

It wasn't changed by me but in Citroen's brand maintenance company here in Finland.

Unfortunately I don't have the error codes, but the repair guy now thinks its something to do with webasto.

Opinions?

Ok, so you didn't mention that before. I can't help you with the Webasto additional heating system as we don't generally have it over here.
