C1 wipers
I have a 2015 Citroen Ci Petrol. Recently the windscreen wiper have stopped working, on normal speeds. It will only work on fast speed and will not park. I have checked the fuse under the dash board which is OK. Any advice / cure would be greatly appreciated.

Re: C1 wipers
It'll be hard to determine whether this is the control unit for the wiper stalk (comms Unit), relay or some other issue, as the motor seems to be working itself or the BSI has thrown a wobbly. There's no ECU in the wiper assembly that I can see and it seems to be a basic motor.
For other people with similar problems, a BSI reset did the trick:

Re: C1 wipers
Looking at the diagram it looks like a pretty basic circuit, It doesn't look like the BSI has anything to do with the wash/wipe control apart from suppling the power, its a single power supply so as its working on full speed i would initially rule out a BSI or fuse issue. Looks like the motor has some sort of speed control circuitry internally. You really need to get to the motor electrical connector & see if you are getting switching signals when the switch is operated to the lower speeds. if you are getting these i would suspect a motor fault.

Re: C1 wipers
I'm just relaying that I know another person who had this issue - tested the motor for power and was only getting 12V on the fast speed, nothing at the other speeds. Reset the BSI a few times after cleaning the contacts on the motor and it all worked.
Wires 170 and 216 are 'unknown', but I'd certainly have a check at the connections at the motor plug identified as 5015 in the image below and make sure they aren't contaminated:

Yes, thats a mk2 diagram. I guessed it was mk2 as it is a 2015.
If it happens to be a late registered mk1 then that will be even more basic as its not even multiplexed.

Yes, I just checked the diagram again. Just added a picture for location.
