2019!? Was it a back up for your Sat Nav or did the sat nav era pass you by?

Now, now. I've actually got 5 sat navs in total including one built in in the Subaru and a 10" screen I used for taking the truck to Spain. However satnavs are no use when you want to have a browse to decide where to go for a ride out at the weekend, consequently I have a pretty large collection of road maps of varying scales according to my needs. Maps are far more interesting than a sat nav will ever be!!:

Oh, the mini London A to Z, 9/10 times the street you wanted was hidden in the centre fold! Can't beat an O/S map when on walkabouts

You trying to get points for the books AND the badges on them? That's cheating! Any chance you could take some photos of them opened up? Just curious what's in there.

As Ryan pointed out the rectangle thing just doesn't cut-it so just a token 1 point for one of those :-D
I hadn't realised how much of a rarity the rectangle badge is now. Modern car design in the grill department has virtually morphed it out of existence, if indeed it still does exist, if my brief survey is anything to go by.

So I think the paltry 1 point offered, for an original AA badge of that type, in situ on a vehicle, has to be upped to the full 50, on the basis that I reckon they are very hard to find, and for anyone who attends a car show the older style badges are quite common, and probably easier to find than the rectangles.

Last week on the June Jolly I really enjoyed navigating by OS Map Mick :D Kept me well amused and occupied whilst sitting in the passenger seat!

But you know me, I love maps nearly as much as you do :)

Probably without realising it, the first original picture of an AA badge since the gauntlet was thrown down a few days ago has come from the shutter click of Citrojim on tour in Somerset. That gets the 50 points from me.

The rectangular badge awaits an original photo, and a further upping of points is required so
60 points for an original photo of the rectangular AA badge on a vehicle and
100 points if that rectangular badge carries the words AA Relay.
