We replaced our TZD with a ZX and was rather disappointed with it Jim as was my wife and a number of other people. It was very nicely built but so much heavier than the BX that it took the fun out driving. First thing my wife complained about was its lack of performance. I was driving an XM so didn't have that problem 8-)

I really enjoyed that video Neil and am in total agreement with Geoff's comments. My ZX was the Volcane petrol and had ample performance for an every day driver. I too liked the security keypad which was the only electronics on the car and perfectly designed for its purpose!! :-D

Detais in this video:

Had a look at this whilst I was there yesterday. It's getting a bit shabby really. There's blebs on at the back of each of the sills, and at the bottom of the front wings - likley holed under the paint. Drivers seat is worn and the gearknob had fallen apart. But otherwise, not tooooo bad.

Thanks for that report Chris, sounds like a bit of a running project. Maybe a respray in solid red could be the order of the day! :-D

Only one thing could make that better and that would be for it to be décapotable. Or maybe the break version.
