The 405 was possibly, along with the 205, arguably Pug's finest moment - the estate especially so...

And that one's very desirable :D

For the Mini lovers among us this specimen would be hard to top. Should only demand a medium fortune as it is a Rover version but I suspect it will exceed the target of this thread:

Yep, I identify as a Mini lover Mick, but only the proper BMC Mini ;) That one's too late for me as it has fuel injection and a cat. Proper Minis have an SU carb and definitely nothing feline in its exhaust system... Just my opinion ;)

That's a nice example but not for me - not only for the reasons mentioned above but because I've never been a fan of Almond Green... Reminds me of elderly soggy Moggy Minors and depressing wet Sunday afternoons...

Reason: Mini stood on it's feet. (fallen over).

Welcome to the forum Sara, that looks a cracker, and Jim's favourite colour too! Have a good look round the forum from the Board Index above and join in whatever rocks your boat! :-D

And a big welcome from me too Sara :D That really is one gorgeous Mini and as Mick says, my favourite colour, virtually the same as my AX. And your Mini having a Somerset registration makes it even more special as I'm Somerset born and bred... I just wish my AX did but happily my Saxo does..

Enjoy the forum :D

When my brother emigrated to Australia in 1970 he got work at British Leyland out there, mostly working on commercial vehicles but when BL went belly up and the factory closed he bought the last Australian built Mini off the assembly line for his daughter, she used it for a few years then it was tucked away in the parking area under their house.
His grandson resurrected it and restored it from the bottom up.
I'll find the photos if I can and post them here.
Wonder what it's worth now.

I don't know that model but I'd have thought it would make an excellent dual purpose bike carrying and car show attending vehicle!! :-D
