   In my defence m'lud... It's not mine, it's Sian's ;) I just look after it for her :) Honest!

It's bouncier than Tigger on speed... I'm sure they forgot to install suspension when it was made and accidentally put in a wooden steering system...

Nothing going wrong with the Activa or the AX (AX is my winter car), XM awaits garage space and the Pluriel is under a cover to the side of next doors stables.....so

I have now started the cleaning and inspection of the undersides of the "8k Barn" Golf after a Christmas break.
Front wheel arches and brakes/boots/ball joints first.
Initial cleaning reveals this so far, the runs and black patches are factory underseal, brake disks are as fitted as are the pads. All rubber boots and joint covers seem soft and compliant. I will next remove the arch liner and have a look under there.

I think the wheel bolts tell the story about the condition this car is in !

And......back to leaky old Citroens.

Above the rear sub-frame....Winter "off road period" is the time to investigate the LHM dampness & occasional drip !

And the odd bracket to have its surface corrosion treated.
