Citroen C4 Grand Picasso 2010 Diesel No Fuel Pressure

Hi

I have a Citroen C4 Grand Picasso 2010 and the car computer says that I have no fuel pressure; the car computer also said I had a turbo over speed fault and this could be related to the no fuel pressure problem

The engine will turn over and I can start the engine using starting fluid (gas in a spray can) but will not continue to run as the car computer says that I have no fuel pressure

1. Does this car have a mechanical and electric fuel pump or just mechanical and what would be the most likely cause for this fault to happen?
2. Has the turbo over speed fault caused the computer to close solenoids and turn off the fuel supply due to this turbo over speed fault, I’m not sure but is this a possibly but maybe someone might know?
3. Has anyone had this issue before? and if so please share your opinion?

Will watch this thread. I have a 1.6 hdi diagnosed with low fuel pressure. Mechanic seems to think the High Pressure pump has gone. He can’t fix it due to injury and another garage I asked wouldn’t touch it, stating it had to go to a diesel specialist! Surely it’s just a matter of replacing the pump..? I don’t seem to have turbo issues. Tia for any help.

It's something like a 10 hour job.... you'd want to be sure it was at fault before condemning it!!

Are there any easier/cheaper possible causes of low pressure that you would suggest to look at first?
