Armidillo wrote: 18 Dec 2022, 20:21 Hi Marc (or anyone else that can help).

I have a 1994 605 with aircon (Vin VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]). It needs new Schraeder valves for the aircon fill points, but all I've been able to find out is that they are NOT the same as used in more popular models in Australia.

Any suggestions? I'm guessing XMs of the same age use the same parts, which may help a little.

Cheers

Hi Alec

Doesn't seem straightforward:

There are 2 possibilities for this engine, 'AntiSlipping' and 'Without Antislipping' under the Freon Fixing diagrams. However neither of these have item (15) listed as available. When I say available, I don't mean no longer in production, but that they are not showing up as a part. Item (15) is not listed as a possibility.

'AntiSlipping'

'Without Antislipping'

If I remove the filter for your VIN for this engine, item (15) is listed as part: 6457VY and described as:

AIR CONDITIONING VALVE CAP
BASSE PRESSION
SCHRADER -
- SINGLE AIR CONDITIONING
That just looks like the caps, valve cores not shown separately, unless they are elsewhere. Probably need to take them out and then get an A/C specialist to root through their box and find something that fits.

I did have a good look, but not even the caps were listed against this model, so maybe not supplied separately.

I'm after an electronic parking brake switch for my C6 - think they are all the same but VIN supplied anyway:

VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

Cheers in advance

Item (1), part: 470203 (new part which needs configuring), £1,313.30
Think he was after the cabin switch Marc (item 2?) Hopefully a lot cheaper🤣
Got a bit carried away there!

Of course, thanks for picking that up Richard.

Item (2) EPB switch control, part: 470701, £76.99 - cheaper but still only a plastic switch! 😳

Thanks - that confirms what I'd found on ssg.asia - nothing! I did find the part number for the 406 equivalent (6457XJ) - but Murphy's Law says the 605'll be different...

And thanks for the cap number Richard - even new caps might be a good start, as one of mine seems to have a stripped thread.

Hi Marc
If I was to supply a genuine Peugeot Part Number would it be possible to tell me what model and years the part fitted.
Thanks in advance.

Any chance of a part number for the rear left abs sensor

Had it in a garage this afternoon who said the back of the discs rust up quite often and cause the sensor to knock against it so I might have to change the pads and discs too, is that right or is he trying to scam me lol

Are the sensors easy to change does anyone know?
I know the brake switch goes commonly on these, as the auto handbrake isn't working either, and they cause all sorts of errors, it wouldn't be that would it? Diagbox isn't giving a handbrake error but it shows on the dash

Thanks again

It can certainly narrowed down brand and model. What is the part no?

Hi, I've recently done the window regulator on our X7, and was wondering if it's possible to get replacements for the internal door handle pop off trim piece that goes on the door card and covers the two screws securing the doorcard to the door frame? The car has the cream / beige leather with the gold accents, and I popped the other one off and took pictures of both item's label which I'm presuming includes the part number, pictures attached to aid checking availability :-)

If it's this one:
X7 Door Trim.PNG
Part (1) which is the complete door trim pad....

Right: 9345E5 (CLAUDIA SPLIT LEATHER - L033- HZW- - MORNING GREY), £1064.05
Left: 9345 E6 (CLAUDIA SPLIT LEATHER - L033- HZW- - MORNING GREY), £652.88

Neither of the above are now available from Citroen :(
