2016 Nemo Van

Unread post by Paulsok »

Hi all,

Hope someone can help,
I have an issue with the wipers not working on my nemo van, its not the common issue of the linkages as that was done a while ago.
During the cold weather i think the wipers froze to the windscreen and then when i tried to use them again they didn't work.
Ive looked all over for a dedicated wiper fuse but to no avail, and I've checked all fuses in both fuse boxes and they are all good. When i operate the wiper controls I can hear a relay click in the drivers footwell but nothing else happens, the wash still works but no wipers.
Is there another hidden fuse or relay i need to check before removing the wipers and checking the motor.
Ive looked online for a wiring diagram for this and haven't been able to find anything.
Can anyone shed some light on this for me.

many thanks
Paul

You can check Fuse F01 & F03 in the engine Fuse box as these seem to be related to the wipers. It should be near the battery.

Hi Marc,
Thanks for the reply, I checked all the fuses in both fuse boxes and all ok.

Maybe the motor is on the fritz from forcing them when they were frozen onto the screen.

That’s the next job, to remove the wiper arms and covers etc, then test for voltage at the motor.
I believe it’s 4 pin connection on these so presume the connections are something like-
Earth
12v permanent
12v slow
12v fast

Cheers
