@ Matt, Mines different vehicle as you know, but same engine 2.0hdi it will have a slight miss fire feeling when in 5th doing 50 upwards on acceleration drop down a gear alls ok, mine could be vacuum related, mafs ok , glow plugs are ok, air filter was changed 3000 miles ago. But look at this bodge job in the photo attached

As you see , i think underload this tape lets in to much aire hence a wet pipe further back

Oily splodge most likely from the breather connection (19mm hose just behind vacuum pump) pretty sure my DW10 306 is mucky there too.

Not suggesting that wrapped "lump" looks to great though!

Indeed, according to our Zel they go like a scalded cat with an amazing turn of acceleration... A tuned one would be a real grin inducer!
