Hello! I would like to change the transmission fluid on old Nim but I recall reading here some time that it is not a simple drain, clean filters and refill but that it must be drained and run in some three occasions because it cannot be fully changed in one go. Also that the engine must be running(?)
Further, I understand that the fluid must be the right one for the car depending on whether it's Euro 6 or after.
Does anyone know the right fluid for my C5 based on the year etc?
Also, I heard that some garages have the facility to change the fluid in one go using some special apparatus - anyone know who or where?

Hi Graeme, I have listed the procedure here - it is the same for your vehicle.

As your X7 is Euro 4, the official oil is JWS 3309.
