2.7 oil pressure warning
Oh another day & another issue.......... had the low oil pressure warning pop up Monday after fixing the alternator & had a look & the pressure switch was leaking a lot & looked like for a while Diagbox showed the sensor had a fault. Ordered a new one from Parts in Motion & fitted it today, cleared the fault. Guess what with the new sensor fitted it's still showing the warning & fault. How many sensors are there for the oil pressure side of the system ???

Just the one, item (8), part 1131H8, (DIAM 13,7X21 LG 89 GREEN), £55.28 for an OEM one.
I can only suggest the replacement part may be duff.

Would anyone know what the pressure should be at tickover as ordered an oil pressure gauge & it'll be here tomorrow

Put a pressure tester on today and I've got 22psi at idle, does anyone know if that's OK for the 2.7

N.B. : Check the oil level with the engine cold.
CAUTION: Oil pressure is checked with the engine hot after checking the oil level (110 °C).
