Hi. I am trying to fix my daughters C4 blower - really need it working now winter is almost upon us.
There isnt any power getting to any of the feeds to either the blower motor or the rotary control switch.
I have checked the fuse which is ok. So I am guessing that there must be a relay somewhere for this?
My question is where would that relay be?
I took a picture of the only thing that looks like a relay but not sure also a pic of the wires underneath whatever it is along with the fuse box - all in the engine bay.
I bought a Haynes manual which was less than useless thanks to no proper wiring diagrams or descriptions. I also had a search around and found little of any help - might be my searching skill are limited.
2005 Citroen C4 relay location.

Hi, and
to the Forum.
I am not going to be able to help you directly (as I have no knowledge of the C4), but if you were to post the VIN here (without any spaces; as it appears on the V5 logbook) it will help the Moderators to look up your vehicle spec as it left the factory. This would include wiring and component placements.

I can tell you the big relay in the last pic is your glow plug relay.
As for the blowers, from memory the power supply comes from the under bonnet fusebox.
Would need to check a diagram but as said above need the VIN or reg to get this as there are several different versions. A/C or not? automatic climate control or manual? etc.

Many thanks for the replies. I will go and dig out the vin number. I keep having a poke around but just can’t find any relays anywhere
Just realised I don’t have the log book as it’s my daughters car. I will hopefully have the vin number very soon !!!

Re: 2005 Citroen C4 relay location.
The relay is part of the under-bonnet fuse box/BSM and is not serviceable. On our 2005 C4 first the fan started playing up on high speed, then it failed completely, and some time later the car came home on a tip tray. That made the cost of a new module more bearable.

Is it possible to make a separate relay circuit to bypass the fuse box which sounds expensive to replace?

Re: 2005 Citroen C4 relay location.
There are some brave individuals on YouTube who have made repairs but it is well beyond my abilities. There are used modules of course and new ones from China that probably can't be much worse than the original.

Re: 2005 Citroen C4 relay location.
I am surprised that the relax is integral with the fuse board and isn’t serviceable. I might have a go at putting a separate feed through once I find the right wire to put the juice into!!!
