The specific part depends on your build date and options fitted (front / rear, rear only, with video system or not).

The Parking assistance ECU for the sensors is located in the rear left hand side area, likely inside the rear storage compartment or under the boot area.

Ok, so if you have panoramic visual aid there is another ECU, but I'll need your VIN to determine what you have.

Ok, so confirmed you have what I put up in the picture on a previous post. ECU located here:
morph ECU A.PNG
A warning like this will likely generate a fault code, but basics first, I would check 2 fuses:

1) Fuse F22 in the BSI, which is a 5 Amp fuse for the parking assistance ECU. Don't visually check this, as they can have invisible breaks, so it needs testing with an ohmmeter. BSI Located below:

2) If that is OK and working, next check the Engine Fuse Box. Fuse F12 is another 5A fuse for the Parking Assistance ECU with city park / Reversible Seat Belt Reels. PSF1 Engine Fuse Box Location:

Thanks for this, i will check them today & it sounds likely to be the 2nd one as I've got a fault coming up with a seatbelt reel aswell. Have found out that back sonsors are working when touched but not working when reversing. Tried clearing it but it comes straight back.

The fault will return until the issue is resolved - whatever is causing it. Seems it may be worth changing the fuse on the engine fuse box regardless, just in case it is faulty, considering both system appear to be linked.

Have a look here.
List of members who will offer diagnostics and a map link of their locations at the bottom.
Contact by PM to arrange a meeting with them.
Note that not all members are active all the time so it could take a while to get a response.

Yes for cars fitted with both types there is a specific version of the parking assistance ECU that controls both.

Hi Marc,

I am also having a similar issue with my parking 360 camera and rear camera etc not showing up.

Can you post a diagram showing where the Parking ECU is for my model of 2015 Grand C4 Picassso.

My vin is:

VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

Part number:

1610746480

The garage said my rear camera was faulty and needed a new one. I thought this was odd, as why would the whole 360 camera system not work if the one rear camera wasn't working. So I bought a new rear camera (exact part no) took the tailgate trim off and fitted it. Still nothing on the visual parking assist, all cameras not working.

So I think the issue could be down to the ECU as you have mentioned here.

I did see you talking about the calibration might also be an issue. Would the whole system just not show up if the calibration was off?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks!

If the system has a fault it is automatically disabled for obvious safety and legal reasons. Assuming you took it to Citroen and they diagnosed it as the camera itself, then it may require recalibration when fitted. Normally Diagbox would provide a fault code for the system if it's not working including a configuration or calibration fault I suspect.

Replacing the parts alone is not always sufficient (the same for front facing camera when a windshield is replaced - must be recalibrated by a place with suitable ADAS equipment and professional diagnostic kit.

As for the ECU location, it is buried in the passenger side (RHD vehicle) glovebox, somewhere near the BSI, so be very careful there as the BSI is the main brain of the vehicle, so you don't want to be disturbing anything there if possible.

Thanks Marc,

That’s good to know about the recalibration needed if one camera goes the whole system goes. So the Citroen garage could be right in saying it’s the reverse camera that needs replacing and then recalibration.

One last thing - Are there any fuses that I could check for the 360 visual assist on my model? Just to make sure it’s not just a fuse gone?

Otherwise it looks like I’ll need to pay the garage for a new camera and recalibration.

Many thanks!
