@Husky: Can you go into your user profile and update your cars please - it might save a few of us from losing the plot![]()
And Google tells me they are called sirocco - which is a blinking stupid name for a wheel, all manner of irrelevant VW nonsense polluting the search results!

That's the dreadful Nerd emoji that was in the news today.

I've seen it on my bikes from time to time and always wondered how it got there...

ummmm
many compressors and air lines have a LOT of water in them............. I would bet many tyre places do not keep them well drained/air dryer valves clear (unlike auto painters/bodyshops)

Re: Air pressure
Never heard of water getting into tyres through driving in water, the air pressure alone must be enough to keep it out, as well as the bead seal area. Seen plenty of air lines with water or moisture in. My own in a nice dry workshop accumulates some and i drain it about once a month.
And as for checking tyres/pressures I am OCD. Every Saturday when home I check both cars, Both Motorbikes, Both cycles, 2 wheelbarrows, a ride on mower and a sack truck... Wife and friends take the p*** , but I know they are always ok..
Also temperature makes a huge difference to pressure readings. Park a car with sun on one side and check them after an hour. You will be amazed !!
