Citroen Saxo Engine Crankshaft Spacer

Unread post by CitroJim »

Today I've been busy fixing a crankshaft oil leak on my Saxo

Sadly, I broke the flange behind the camshaft sprocket... I was damaged anyway but I made it worse... I need a new one...

I believe I've identified the item in question as 'Engine Crankshaft Spacer' and Citroen part number 0512 18. I need to know if it's still available please...

It's the item shown in picture 7.10 of the BoL - they glibly said it would slide off... I had to make up a puller to extract the remains... Very tight.

It needs replacing anyway as the oil seal face is grooved...

Thanks hugely...

Not in stock Husky - you'll find plenty of sellers who will show the part to get your attention, but invariably none of them will have any stock like this one.

Thanks Husky 😀 Shame not in stock...

Marc, can you confirm that 68X30-16,05 is a part number? Have Citroen changed their part number nomenclature recently?

No Jim, that's the measurement I added in case it helped you source a similar one. 68 X 30-16,05.

I've moved this out of the Official Part number thread and given it a separate thread and a new title as it's likely to generate a few posts.

Jim, having looked, I can tell you that this part was also common on the following petrol engines:

106
106 RESTYLING
205
205 A PARTIR MOD 1991
206
306
306 (RESTYLING)
309
405
405 SAUF RESTYL
PARTNER

Obviously you will need to check the part against any you find, but this spacer was used on some vehicles in the above.
