C5X7 2014 Antenna Boosters- Poor reception-Radio
Hi, I would like to know if the Model Citroën C5X7 2014 sedan has an antenna booster already fitted ?? If not, what type of antenna connections does this radio have. Unfortunately, I did not take any pictures when I removed the radio. Does anyone else have problems with poor reception on this radio. If it does NOT have a signal booster I intend to install one. Any recommendations on a good booster would be helpful. I have attached a couple of photos from the installed radio.

I'll need the VIN for this vehicle as you've changed it and there are different fittings depending on audio system and build date.

Re: C5X7 2014 Antenna Boosters- Poor reception-Radio
On my 2013 X7 Tourer with eMyWay there are two amplifiers at the back of the vehicle, one for each antenna. If you have a Saloon I don't know.
I have never been impressed with the radio reception on FM and had the car back under warranty many times. They changed both amplifiers, the radio head (actually for another problem with the maps) and the roof aerial. The last was totally useless as the radio antennas are printed circuits on the rear RH fixed window in the Tourer!

Hi, I own a Citroën C5X7 2014 HDI sedan and would like to know where the antenna booster amp is located? I am not able to see any pics from previous messages. Tx

I've moved your recent post here, as you have already asked this question on this thread above and in turn been asked for the VIN to be able to respond. If you don't provide the VIN then we can't help - vehicles have different equipment according to the model type & system fitted.

Re: C5X7 2014 Antenna Boosters- Poor reception-Radio
My 2008 estate has an excellent radio, due to the size of the antenna and length of cable run I think it must have a preamp at the base of the aerial..

Ah right, I wondered why only one of mine has an aerial on the roof, is that for the satnav?

I still am not wiser as to what I can do to improve the radio reception.
