Hi to all!
I have a Citroen C4 Grand Picasso 2014/1,6D
My question is what roofbars should I use? It looks very complicated unlike any other cars, different to a flushrail, more bulkier and cannot find the right Thule or anything similar roofbars for it so I van mount a rooftop box. The original bar from Citroen is quite expensive so looking for an advice.
Thx, Norbert

Citroen supply the specific bats that go into the rails, and then you can purchase a standard roof box.
I think there are adaptor kits available too that allow standard rails to fit into the vehicle roof rail slots. There are also plenty of roof bars that are designed for the C4 Picasso. Once you have the bars, then you can fit any type of roof box.

Re: Citroen C4 Grand Picasso roofbars
Thx for your reply,
I have a standard roofbox, the roofrails i am confused with. The originals are expensive so no chance. But, the fact is I have seen an identical Citroen with Thule rails so it is possible just do not know which type of mount. Also I hope to get some answers from the same type of car owners who already sorted this problem and would like to know how?
Cheers

Re: Citroen C4 Grand Picasso roofbars
I might suggest you visit your local scrap yard and see what they can do for you. I needed to get a replacement extendable parcel shelf (for my C5 estate), and ebay wanted £150 for one. The local scrap yard charged me £20 for it, a couple of trim pieces, and a couple of other bits.

Re: Citroen C4 Grand Picasso roofbars
I've used this lot before, there looks like 4 different options depending on year & type of fitting > https://www.roofracks.co.uk/thule-fit-g ... nd+Picasso
Thule seem to make the 'genuine accessory' roof bars for most manufacturers nowadays, then they stick a Toyota, Vauxhall, Kia etc badge on them.

i know that, but I’m just saying to search for them and there are lots of options. I just found plenty in a few seconds....
Citroen even sell Thule roof accessories as their recommended products, so not difficult to find.

Re: Citroen C4 Grand Picasso roofbars
On a Grand Picasso B78 there are slots on the inside, if you have the full length grey roofbars.
I think low-spec cars dont have rails.
With the "flush rails"
The Thule fitting kit is TH 186011
Feet are TH 710600
The bars are 135cm Wing bar or Evo
Here in Sweden it's almost always cheaper to buy original roofbars from Citroën, they cost around 200-250€. A complete Thule kit is around 360€

I have various repair handbooks and wiring diagrams for C5 mk1, Xantia, XM, Berlingo and C3 mk1.

Re: Citroen C4 Grand Picasso roofbars
Here's our 2017 with the rails. Close up of the slot in the rail, and the end on the bars
Difference is explained here: https://www.roofbox.co.uk/scripts/rbveh ... query=8182
The bars I have got were not dear, sure I paid less than £100 for the bars, and 2 sets of ends - one for the C4 and the other for my 3008. Seem secure, I've used a roof box and had a canoe on there a few times.
