Re: Citroen C5 can not connect to Bluetooth
We'll need your VIN to check what system you have fitted. Just because the telephone symbol is on the steering wheel it doesn't mean you have phone capability. Pop your VIN up and I'll see what you have.

Re: Citroen C5 can not connect to Bluetooth
Ok, so the reason why is that you have an RT4 telematics system which does not have bluetooth....
Instead, the RT4 uses a SIM card that is directly inserted into the RT4 on the right side as shown in yellow:
You remove the holder for the SIM card as shown in the manual below:
The SIM card is also used for contacting the emergency services automatically in the event of the airbags being triggered in an accident, or the emergency services if you press the red SOS button on the left side.
Make sure you have the vehicle ignition switched off and all displays switched off before removing and inserting a SIM card.
Here's a tip that I once used when I had this system to make it easier to divert my normal mobile calls to my car phone and undivert them once I left the car.
Assumption: Let's assign the SIM card phone with this number to demonstrate: 01234 123456
Now, when you are going for a drive just hit the speed dial you created for 'Car Divert' or (dial the contact directly) on your mobile and all your voice calls will automatically be diverted to the car telephone. When you want cancel the divert, hit the second speed dial (or the 'Car Undivert' entry) and that will cancel all diverts.
I found it a simpler way to use your car phone without having to give everyone the number. Of course, when making a call from the car, you can always choose to withhold the number, so you don't have people ringing you directly on the car phone when you are not in the car!

- On your mobile phone create a contact called 'Car Divert'. Save to a Speed Dial if preferred.
- In the contact details add the following as the phone number: **21*01234123456# and save.
- Next create a secondary contact and call it 'Car Undivert' and in the phone number details, add this: ##21#

Re: Citroen C5 can not connect to Bluetooth
Thanks GiveMeABreak, Wow that's interesting. Please instead of taking this process as you adviced, i want to know is it possible to remove my RT4 and install RT5 or even the higher system? Thanks.

Re: Citroen C5 can not connect to Bluetooth
If you want a later RT6 - yes you can, but you'll need to replace the screen too as RT6 uses a higher resolution screen, plus you will ned the unit VIN coding and some parameters configuring most likely, requiring Diagbox. You may need a different harness.
