Citroen dispatch 1.9d brakes sticking

Hi can any1 advise me where I can get a servo for a Citroen dispatch 1.9D 2005 non turbo non abs
I’ve replaced new callipers new master cylinder new discs and pads and still there sticking I think it’s the servo, reasons why is when the van is cold the brakes are fine, a soon as the van get warm upto 90• the brake pedal is hard then the brakes stick on, so I’m looking for a servo or a comparable version for it, if there is any advice please please tell me

I had the same problem with the same vehicle, it was a long time ago, I improved things by increasing the free play between the pushrod and the piston in the master cylinder, it must have been too tight, ok when cold but when things warm up the brakes would apply themselves, good luck.

A very common problem on these is the little pivot bracket & bush (4 & 10 in the picture) seizes & becomes very stiff to move causing the brakes to hold on. You have to remove the servo to get to it which itself is not a very nice job.

Thank you for your advice the van is going in this afternoon to adjust the push rod to see if that helps, I will also mention about the bushes that become stiff, I hope I get this fixed, if there is any advice on how to remove the servo I would be grateful too thank you all

Is just this 4&10 pivot n bush and is this behind the brake pedal ?

Sorry, my mistake, its actually 5 & 10. I didnt realise there is an almost identical pivot on the pedal side. The bush in the bracket is the same part though.
It is located behind the servo in the engine bay. Removing the servo on this van is an engine out job, well you at least have to drop the engine & gearbox down off its mounts & support it on an engine lifting table.

I took the van in to the garage and said about the linkages and also what the other guy mentioned about the push rod adjustment in the servo, the mechanic adjusted the pushrod and that has solved the problem yay! I’m so happy after new callipers discs and pads also a new master cylinder it turned out a simple fix thank you all for your advice, I really appreciate it,

Good that you got a fix, I would still like to give that linkage a good blast of penetrating oilyness otherwise the sticking will just move up to the new position and it will start all over again, which is what mine did, I wonder if the servo will move enough to allow the mechanic to squirt some GT85 or similar on to the linkage without too much dismantling ? I suggest you show him the diagram here.

Just for reference here is the part that causes the problem, this was one i done on a C8 (same setup as the Dispatch) a few years back, Picture isn't great as it was taken years ago on a really old camera phone. The insert in the middle just seizes up in the pivot & goes really stiff. I notice the part number of the bush insert has been superseded to a new number so it may be modified now?
Dont know how well you would get into it to lube it in place apart from some blind spraying.

I see what you mean by the photo I’ll try and blind spray it’s difficult to get to the back of the servo on the dispatch, there is no play once the servo is unbolted to get a hand in to the linkages,
