Re: Diagbox question
Ok, so in that case, pop your VIN up (automasked on post submission) so I can check what you are supposed to have equipment wise and I'll see if I have anything on this.

Re: Diagbox question
Ok, so your configuration shows that there is no hands free unit and no independent telematics unit fitted, which would explain that if the BSI has been configured to look for one, then it will throw a wobbly when it can't communicate with it.
As for corrective action I will be sending you a PM shortly.

Re: Diagbox question
I will check again today but I do seem to have got rid of ALL BSI errors. However, I am still getting engine management light on and error U0141 in the engine ECU.

Here's that fault code, but I think you mean U0140:

| Description of Fault: | Intersystems CAN: Absence of communication with the BSI ECU. Faults in communication between ECUs on the CAN network. Fault is triggered when at least one of the following conditions must is fulfilled:

| Downgrade Modes whilst Fault is active: | None Apparent |

Re: Diagbox question
Yes, sorry, U0140.
Fault doesn't clear on it's own. Fault appears again as soon as I clear it, takes a while to put the MIL back on again but Diagbox reads it. I just need to clear it, start and stop the car, and it's back.
Everything on the car appears to work perfectly fine and the engine runs really well.

Hey hello,
I do have exact the same issue. How did you solve this problem?

Re: Diagbox question
It was the additive tank. I changed the tank in the end BUT it may have been ok if I had just filled it and primed it properly!!! The tank was bone dry, someone must have configured the system to say it still had fluid. The pump was running dry and I think that was throwing the error.

Re: Diagbox question
Indeed, very likely. There is no physical measuring systemin the tank. It is all estimated by the engine ECU, based on fluid filled at factory. So if the engine ECU has been told it is full and reset, then it will be none the wiser, except when the pump burns out from dry running and then you'll get a comms issue and will need a new tank assembly.
